MephistoSatanDevilRegarding the Translation of the Place Name "Whin Hill"
#1
Hello Lava, regarding the place name "Whin Hill," we currently have two different translation approaches. One is a meaning-based translation, which conveys the sense of "a hill covered with gorse/whin." The other is a sound-based transliteration, which does not express this meaning. As the author, which approach do you prefer?

As with Foundling, I would say meaning is more important Smile feel free to translate it so it does make sense in your language Smile
