Skie: The Cost - a massive update is now released!
Hi. No, I am not interested in creating forks / alternative versions of my own mods, nor do I allow others to do that. All these dialogues and content are exactly how I want them to be or are a product of their times. Besides, making two competing versions of the same mod would also be somewhat senseless and confusing. Besides, this (and other mods) will also be updated, there are always new fixes, tweaks, translations. Even my very first English mod -- TotDG, which was released in 2009 -- was still updated twice this year.
Besides, LCA and Skie: The Cost focus on different things, we tell different stories; the other author and I -- we use different ways to tell those stories, and I also believe the way it is now preserves the uniqueness of our mods. That is yet another reason for my "no".
No. I create mods my way, and I am not looking for that kind of contribution. I dare say many modders are going to say the same things. You won't find (official aka not hacked) alternative versions of existing mods, and there are many reasons for that.
That stands for all my mods.
