Hi! Alabaster Sands give some existing creatures normal gems that are required for the mod's main quest: helping the artist from the Sands. Otherwise, getting all gems would be super hard and on the original game, even impossible, because some of the gems were actually even rarer there. Apart from giving those creatures gems, I do not change these creatures/characters in any way.
You may browse these in NearInfinity and/or DLTCEP (not sure if that's how you found out about them), but they become available when you actually get quests to find something.
