Question - Idril - 07-25-2023 Just curious about what's up after leaving the Underdark.. I spoke to Solaufein and was nice, talked with Hunrae and was nice, and was told about the new area, but... RE: Question - Lava - 07-25-2023 Eilistraee's Song introduces a new area on the worldmap once Solaufein tells you about the exact area. Then, it will become available: Remember that after installing the mod, you need to start a new game, otherwise it won't appear properly on the worldmap. It's a general rule regarding mods that add new areas to the game. (07-25-2023, 09:05 AM)Idril Wrote: talked with Hunrae and was niceI have no idea who that is. While I don't remember all the names I added to my all mods, I don't think there is anyone named Hunrae in Eilistraee's Song. Idril RE: Question - Lava - 07-25-2023 Whenever you install the mod that add any new areas (Eilistraee's Song, Southern Edge, Tangled Oak Isle and some other) you should start a new game. Also remember about the best install order It's described in this thread: https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/topic/33164-a-new-player%E2%80%99s-guide-to-installing-and-playing-mods/ You may also try using a code after talking to Elhan: C:MoveToArea("ARES01") will take you there, but I can't assure everything will go smoothly. You'd need to check it yourself. There are many variables Here's info on how to use codes: https://gibberlings3.github.io/iesdp/appendices/clua/bgee.htm Cheers! Hope you'll get to the clearing during your next run RE: Question - Idril - 07-25-2023 Quote: Whenever you install the mod that add any new areas (Eilistraee's Song, Southern Edge, Tangled Oak Isle and some other) you should start a new game. It's a (silly) point of pride that after 23 years, I never do. I'd rather do a re-start than use it. Goofy, I know... Quote:Cheers! Hope you'll get to the clearing during your next run Thanks, I'm sure it will all work out for my next play-through. I have a bunch of saved starts [a dozen or so, so I can avoid playing the opening chapter for the zillionth time...] from just after I get out of the madman's dungeon... but I guess I won't be using any of those now. [I'm aware of the "Dungeon be gone" mod to skip chapter one, but it just doesn't appeal to me.] More goofiness! Idril |
