Checked it, couldn't reproduce. However, if there is some other mod that replaced my mod's changes, then I cannot do anything about that. But maybe it's just some random bug. IIRC, the item is "L#SKEQ1" so if one of those is missing, create the item with a console Smile

Dunno, it depends if the mod replaces specific .are file (if the new container does not appear at all) or script (if the container appears, but it's empty).
If you want to make sure all SotSC are applied, it's best to install the mod after other mods that may replace/change original areas significantly. But if that's the first problem you've encountered, I wouldn't worry too much about it Smile Remember it's an old game and sometimes bugs just happen Smile

Hi!
My English is too poor to express my admiration for what YOUR mod has done with BG EE!
If anyone is unsure whether to install or not, my advice is to INSTALL IT!!! It's an absolute MUST HAVE for BG1. My top 3: SOTSC, BG Q&E, and The Vault (Vault was the first mod I ever installed, old love never rusts).

Infesting Light quest - I received XP twice for this quest (but I have also NTOTSC installed - same quest area).
Can you make letters and scrolls with information can be stored in scroll tubes and their contents copied to the journal?

It may be some local glitch, as I think I tested it not that long ago due to some other report and I don't think it happened then.

I'll consider it, but I don't think I will add it anytime soon and if I was planning to, I would rather focus on being able to keep scrolls in tubes rather than adding the journal thing. Anyway, I have other updates I would like to focus on, so it won't be high on my list, sorry.

There's a couple bugged quests
,  2 in friendly arms inn and 1 so fare in barefoot.  Please note I'm running quite a few mods so I'm well aware this isn't the mode doing.  That being said can I get console commands to start some these quests.  Dialogue starts wh3n asks about it then just abruptly cut off.  The friendly arms inn quest is the basement quest giving by gently and the other is in the house the mod opens up.  The one in berogost is the beetle guy.

Well, these were tested for years, but l--I may test these again when I have a moment. 

It would be helpful if you let me know what companions do you have, though.

It may be hard to say how to help you, considering I cannot understand what exactly is happening, what are your party members, etc.

i have jhara, minx, imoen, fisk, and isra.  And what happening is i goto to eneter dialogue for the quest and it starts, but after a few lines the dialogue abruptly stops before i can accept the quest

...I presume it's Jaheira, Imoen, Isra... who is Minx? You mean Minsc? And Fisk? I have no idea who you are referring to. 

As for the quest: is it the same for both Friendly Arm Inn quest and the "Beetle guy"?

sorry for miselling lol..and yes its the same in freindly arms inn, the bettle guy and the lady in nashkill who gives the quest in the gnoll stronghold

its ok if there is no way to start the quest as i can just skip them.  Ive just heard about bout this mod and want to experience all it has to offer.  Again im well aware it isnt your mods fault.

That's not the problem -- I think that your setup may be messed up. I just created a new character, joined Imoen, Kagain, Minsc, Jaheira, Khalid and checked the beginnings of both quests, and they work fine.

IF you have problems with both these quests, then I fear your setup may be damaged due to some other mod, installation order or something else.I also do not know if you're playing on BG1EE, BG1EE+SoD (if so, then if it's Beamdog Client, Steam or something else), if you have modmerge or DLC Merger installed, or if you're using EET. 

The code is not a problem, the Friendly Arm Inn sets this variable: Global("L#FAIQuest","GLOBAL",1)
The "Beetle guy" sets this one: Global("L#BUGQuest","GLOBAL",1) (but here it is more tricky, as the old man needs to go and this probably won't happen properly with just the code)

But if such problems are going to happen over and over again, you won't enjoy your run away, that's why I mentioned a damaged setup. These looks like symptoms of such.

Its ee using PI.  My mod list is....extensive, something like 140 or so mods.  So i expected glitches and such.  Think for your help and your timely reply.  Ill try the cc variables you posted and f it works great, if not then its ok..i can deal

and the guy in the added house in the freindly arms in area.  He also glitching so what the variable string to start that quest?
